Cut off dates for cap/gowns are:
If ordered by Nov. 1st, cap/gown unit is $29.99
If ordered between Nov. 2nd and Dec. 31st, c/g unit is $39.99
If ordered Jan. 1, 2021 or after, c/g unit is $49.99 and not guaranteed.

The Richland County 14 day case count numbers continue to rise, Vernon County holds stable. This confirms the district will stay virtual through the end of October. The school board will review county level data trends at their meeting on October 26th.

MS VB Saturday, Oct 10 - La Farge only has enough players for 8th grade on Saturday. So, there will NOT be a 6th/7th grade game tomorrow. 8th Graders should arrive to the school at 9 AM, game starts at 9:30 AM. 8th Graders will be turning their jersey in after the game on Saturday. 6th/7th Graders should turn their jersey in at their earliest convenience. I am sending this notification a day early so that families may begin to plan for virtual instruction. The Richland County 14 day case count has exceeded the threshold of 50 cases per 10,000 residents. The Kickapoo Instructional Model will move to virtual instruction for 4K-5th Grade starting on October 12th, 2020. This model of instruction will take place for a minimum of two weeks.
It is highly likely that parents need to plan on this continuing until October 30th, but an update will be provided next Thursday. The case counts are trending up and will need to begin falling in order for us to get below the 50 cases per 10,000 of residents. Both Vernon and Richland County Health Department are reporting increased cases, and an increased rate of positive testing, which indicates an active spread of the disease in both counties.
I know that these changes in instruction are difficult for parents and students alike. Our goal is to keep our students and staff safe. For reference when we started school in August, our case counts in both counties were below 5 per 10,000 residents.
