Hello Seniors and Senior Parents,
Please know we will be talking with class officers and getting class input next week regarding yard signs, posters, and other graduation related items. We know this has been a very difficult situation. Please know we are thinking about you and will continue to plan based on the information and guidelines we have. Our ongoing goal will be that we have a ceremony by the end of summer. Please keep your heads up and doing your best with the things you can control. We’re all hoping for the best!

April 13-17 is Tornado & Severe Weather Awareness Week in WI. In the absence of practicing this in school, please discuss weather safety at home, look over your plans, and identify shelter areas. MAKE A PLAN @ https://readywisconsin.wi.gov/make-a-plan/family-meeting-places/

Kickapoo will be participating in a statewide movement to #BeTheLightWI to honor our 2020 Seniors. At some point, we will light our field lights, take pictures, and post those pictures on social media. However, we will not be advertising a common time, but rather be reminded of a core value that we have learned from our athletic experiences: Play our individual roles for the strength of the team, which at this point is to #StayHomeStaySafe for everyone. The better we all play our role, the sooner we will be reunited. Stay safe and enjoy the long weekend.

Kickapoo Area Food Pantry will be open on Saturday, April 18th 9:00-11:00 and Monday, April 20th from 4:00-6:00. If you should need services at any time, please feel free to contact Kristina Reser-Jaynes at 629-5663, Diana Forkash at 627-1979, or Annie Blakely at 627-1416. They are prepared with a surplus of food and welcome your calls.

Congratulations to Colten Sevede on being selected to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All Star Game!

Parents of 6th, 7th and 8th graders: Teachers have created a website that lists your child's weekly expectations for their classes. It will be updated by Monday mornings. Hopefully this will be a tool to help increase organization and decrease stress. Thanks for all you are doing at home with your kids! https://sites.google.com/kickapoo.k12.wi.us/kickapoo6th7thgrades/home

Schoology users, we have received word that Schoology is back up and running. Please communicate to your teachers if you are still having problems. Your teachers will direct you to the proper place if you are still having issues for that class.

Schoology Users - we are aware that there are issues and things are very slow, sometimes completely inaccessible. Schoology is aware and working on it. Please continue to communicate with your teachers regarding this.
